hi my name is anna. i play football, camogie (irish version of hockey) and volleyball. im 5 foot 7 and i weigh 155lbs. i know this at risk of being overweight. how much weight should i loose to not be at risk? :)

for a small frame its 123 and for an average frame its 143 :) hope this helps

Oh my goodness!!! I only wish I could play that sport and still be 155 lbs...Do not concentrate on the scale because the scale doesn't measure "fat". The scale also doesn't measure "muscle". By the way, being as active as you are...you definitely have "muscle" and muscle weighs more than "fat". What a scale can tell you is if your weight is fluctuating and by how much. That is pretty much it for the scale and its usefulness. At 5' 7" you have height and probably a good distribution over your entire body. If you became a "skinny, minny"...you definitely wouldn't be able to tolerate the pounding your body takes running all over the field. You need hydration, activity, proper rest and sleep plus nutrition to maintain overall health. You don't sound at risk to me....so don't get hung up on "numbers"; the numbers are only a part of the story - not the whole story.
