I have been on antibiotics for about x2 weeks for an infection, and in between then me and my partner have had unprotective sex about 4 times approximately while on the pill and taking antibiotics. I have not had a period since god knows when as i skip it all the time and never have a period. I have taken a pregnancy test x2 time both come back negative while still on antibiotics and sill on the pill. Am i taking the pregnancy test at the right time or should i wait and stop taking the pill and take a pregnancy test then, and what day after should i take the pill

Dear Shanny: NOT to frighten you, but if you are taking Antibiotics AND Birth Control Pills, the antibiotics virtually nullifies your BCP!!!!!! o.O
Also you can't tell if your pregnant when you are on the pill, because it will read the hormone from the pill not from you. To become pregnant, get off the pill 1st, staying on the pill if/when you are pregnant is a NO NO!! It doesn't stop the pregnancy, but can cause problems - due to the wrong hormones!
Depending on what you want to happen, wait till your off the pill to take the test. If you are still on antibiotics, take extra precautions - condom.
Right now, things are a bit wonky for you - and me ;-) - to figure out. You have the disadvantage of taking antibiotics at the same time of the pill, increasing your chances of becoming pregnant. You are taking the test while still being on the pill - which will lead to false results. AND if you are still on the pill, how are you supposed to take the test?
The pregnancy hormones are called HCG, I think the best thing to do here is go to your doctor and discuss everything. Because if you ARE pregnant, it will be early stages, and you will need to get off the pill - antibiotics are fine! PLUS you don't want to go off the pill then back on, it will just mess with your hormones even more. So go get a check up with your doctor OK? And keep me informed, good luck hon!

At this point it's not certain as to whether you're pregnant or not. You will have to wait until your HGC levels go up and you will have to wait until that can actually be detected by a pregnancy test. Unfortunately you are going to have to wait this one out for a bit until the levels go up more. At that point, you will be able to tell what your status is. In the meantime, if you do have sex, do use protection to be sure. And keep us posted!
