Hi, welcome to the club. Sure, you are not the only one. Actually, sleepwalking is very common. Many people suffer from this disorder and don’t even know about it. It's more common in children, usually between five and 12 years old and mostly boys are effected. An hour after the beginning of sleep, a sleepwalking is noticed. If you ask a person some question, you will get an answer. But, later the person will not remember it and would deny that you talked to her. It happens because sleeper is in deep phase of sleep. They can even be up, with eyes wide open and do different things, but without consciousness of what are they doing.
