Hello, I would like to hear more about the possible association between DiGeorge syndrome and fetal alcohol syndrome. I am in a third month of pregnancy and I would like to know how much alcohol is needed to damage the child? Well, I don’t think that you have to worry that much. I mean, if you take a glass of wine rarely that is not a problem, or those three glasses (once in couple of weeks, or even better, months). But you have to know that there will be a problem if you drink each day, and if you are emtying bottles, not glasses. But that is clearly not your case. And the fetal alcohol syndrome might be the cause of DiGeorge syndrome.
