I noticed 2 days after having sex I had a white discharge with a odor to it. I went to the clinic to get tested and I tested positive for BV, I was then prescribed some medicine and was told that there is no way that my partner could have gave it to me. The second time we had sex two days later I had the same symptoms again. So I went back to the clinic to get checked, I complain about the white discharge the nurse looked at me and told me that she didn't think that it was BV because it doesn't have a odor. I got tested again and the BV test came back positive but the nurse told me since it doesn't have a odor to it that she will not prescribe me anything for it and it will go away on its own.(ugh) She told me that the soap that I was using was causing my BV I've been using that for years and never had a issue with it. So I did some research and seen a lot of females complaining about their boyfriends giving them BV . I also read that the BV bacteria can get inside of a mans penis and that most clinics don't even test men for BV.
