Hello. I'm 26 year old male. I have some problems that I have never experienced earlier in my life and I'm pretty distressed about all this.
Right now I don’t know am I normal or what. I don’t know what the hell is going on with me.
About two months ago I started to hear some voices when I lay in my bed in evening.
At the beginning I thought that maybe some people talked underneath my room window, but now I'm pretty sure that all this was just my imagination.
What this could mean? Should I contact my psychiatrist?

Well, I would really like to help you because I can se you are disturbed about this. I'm a medical student and I know some things about these kinds of hallucinations.
You didn’t mention what those voices told you!
This is very important because depending on that- there are several types of auditory hallucinations. There are some second or third person types or even one called “Echo de la pensee” where person hear echo of his voice.
Schizophrenics characteristically have auditory hallucinations. But, also you didn’t mention do you hear your voiced when you are awake or maybe when you fall in sleep. As a meter or fact, this could be just as trivial thing as a simple dream.
