Hi, I am 27 years old and I have to say that I am very afraid. My child was born premature and since this is the first time for me, being a mum I mean, I am not sure I am doing everything right. Does a premature baby need some extra care later in life? She is fine now, but will she stay like that forever?

The problem with premature born babies is that they did not develop fully, which means that some of the body’s system will not function properly, especially the respiratory system and therefore those kids might subdue to asthma, for example, later in life. And that is a mild prognosis. I suppose you should be extra careful when it comes to her health later on.
