I am in my third moth of pregnancy and I admit that I feel both exhilarated and afraid. I am 22 years old and I hope that I will be a good mother, although for now I know nothing about being a parent. And I have heard not so pleasant stories about the premature born children. What can you tell me about all problems that can occur in that situation?

The biggest problem would be the one related to insufficiently developed respiratory system. That might easily lead to a fatal end, if the reaction is not immediate. So, the child has t spend some time in the incubator which will provide them with the increased amount of oxygen, so that their lungs do not have any problems. This continues until all the baby’s systems are strong enough to function normally outside the incubator.
