I had an abortion in march this year and also had an implanon stick inserted at the same time. Since then I have blacky brown discharge which seem's to be coming and going all the time. I have had 2 weeks of not bleeding during this time, and suddenly it's started again. I took all the antibiotics given and finished the course. I have not had sex since march ( which might I add is killing me!!!) and am now getting rather worried. I thought it would clear after all the c**p had discharged itself, and the new hormonal effect had gotten used to my body...I was wrong can you help!

IMPLANON is progestin only, ad because of this it is KNOWN to cause strange irregular bleeding for the first 3-6 months.(Just like Mirena IUD) I KNOW IT IS ANNOYING, but it is technically normal for women who use implanon.
