i was wondering, i have had the mirena iud for about a year since march of "06 and i havae been bleeding ever since. sometimes it is normal and other times it isn't very much at all. part of me wants to take it out but i don't know? does anyone have the same symptoms as me. thank you

Mirena IUD causes some women to bleed EVERY SINGLE day that they use it, it did that to me.
I switched to a Paragard IUD,no hormones, and everything was fine after that.
The hormones are what is causing the bleeding, if you switched to a no hormonal IUD, the problem would likely clear up =)
