I had a smear test done for cervical last wed. This was my first check up for servical. I am now 25
She said that i bleed a litle bit but 15 min later when i got home i bleeded so much that i had to change the pad she gave me.
I felt i had my period but even if i have my period i dont bleed so much
( Friday Morning i stopped bleeding)
The following day i rang my GP and she said they will sent my test urgent.
I am on the pill over 10 yrs n stop every month n never had my period in between?
I am not due to take my last pill this friday ? I Know that some people bleed a bid but not so much ?
The doctor coulndt Give me an explination .. Some has even said to me that i could be pregnant ?

It is normal to experience spotting (slight bleeding) following a smear, but it is not normal to experience heavy bleeding after smear test. Bleeding is due to the tiny brush scraping the delicate lining of the cervix. You should wait for your test results first, your doctor will probably find out the cause. Take care.
