:-( Hey everyone, about two to three weeks ago I stared having pregnancy symptoms. I have four children allready and with each of them I had symptoms very early on with all of them. I should have started in these last 2 days and I woke up at 7:00am and had some bright red bleeding. I still decided to take a pregnancy test and it was positive. I have very mild cramping and still medium bleeding as of 8:00pm. With my last pregnancy I thought I was haveing a mc, I had extreme cramping and lots of blood with clots at about 3 weeks after my last period , so I went to the er and they ran some test. The test all said negitive and so I went home. It lasted about 7 days and was gone. About 3-4 weeks later I took a PT test and it was positive. I then went to the doctor and she said I was pregnant and everything looked good. 2 months into the pregnancy I was measureing about 5 weeks ahead of how far we thought I was so she ordered me to get a SG. We thought I was carrying twins. It showed that I was carrying one baby and that I was in fact a month and a few days further then we thought because or the dates from my last period. Then come to find out I was actually pregnant during the whole ER visit when I thought I was haveing a mc and all the test said negitive! I am so scared because I don't want to have a mc. I am not bleeding like my normal period but kind of a small flow and I dont have clots. I had very mild cramping off and on. Should I be worried or is it possibe that I am haveing a period and still pregnant like I did with my last child? Because I have read that only a small percent of woman experience periods while pregnant! And could I have this experience more than once since I had it 3 yrs ago ?? Please help ease my mind!

Everything is individual and if you had bleeding with your previous pregnancy, you may be having the same experience now.
There are general rules to how things work but exceptions happen just like in your case three years ago. The only thing to do and get correct answers is to go and see your doctor and determine the possible cause of the bleeding. For example, the bleeding and cramping you experienced with your last pregnancy, I would thought of as a miscarriage but it turned out it wasn’t, so it is very hard to say anything in your case just by listening to the symptoms.
I know that some women experience quite a lot of bleeding throughout their pregnancies and in the end have a perfectly normal delivery and perfectly normal child.

That all sounds very confusing and scary! I am sorry you are having to go through this. The high of a positive pregnancy test and then the worry about how far along you are and whether you may be miscarrying is so stressful. :(
You know, you really can't have periods while pregnant, because periods are the shedding of the lining of the uterus. What is really very common is early pregnancy bleeding, and it doesn't always result in a miscarriage though it sometimes does. The best you can do is wait and hope, and frequently see your doctor.

wow thats exactly what i needed to hear....experiencing same situation have two kids already, and was instantly sick with both. I was sick before the 5 day sooner test was even positive..now three years later on my birthday i realise iam about 11 days late however i only had sex one time(ME N BABY DADY Arent AS COOL AS WE USED TO BE) and used spermamcidal supository. now have positive prego test with light line followed by med to heavy bright red bleeding......i had given up hope and was ready to considder this a MC even though im still experiencing preg symtoms..I ve been told each pregnancy is different.just wish I knew for sure the suspence is killing me.....wish i could call you and ask you some more questions.

i mc'd at 4 weeks with those same symptoms, light non period like bleeding and off and on cramping. good luck to you though!

This is very interesting to me as My husband and I are trying for our second baby. Our first pregnancy was great no complications and I enjoyed every minute of it. I did a pregnancy test about 7 weeks ago and it was possitive we were so happy. Then I started to bleed a week later and went to the emergency room where they ran 2 tests that were negative and said I had miscarried. Now 4 weeks later I still felt pregnant so did another test which was possitive. It is possible that I did miscarry and am pregnant again but we only had sex once this month. We are really happy ofcourse but worried at the same time because we want everything to run smoothly. I have had no more bleeding (fingers crossed) and am 5 weeks plus 2 days but now I am thinking maybe I am further gone and didn't actually miscarry. We shall see.... I will let you all know how I get on!

Hey everyone... ok im going through the same thing... i didnt have my period through out the whole month of dec. 2008 i started bleeding on Nov. 6 im having a normal period with clots like i do with my other periods. I took a test at the center of better babies and this morning at 8 and they both came out positive but no cramping at ALL!! Can anyone give me so help.. im scared and i dont want to mc. So wonen do have a normal period through out there pregnacy?

so during the period like MC there is a chance that you can still be pregnant and the pregnacy test still say a neg....
i still feel preggers im getting the morning sickness my breast are still sore, but the test said neg.
so do i wait a few weeks and take another test or just go on with what the docs say and believe i MC.

Hello. I took a test last week and it was positive. I was so excited about it because my husband and I have been trying to conceive our second child. Then 5 days later I started bleeding and so I took another test and this time it said neg. I am confused because I am still having stomach aches and today I felt like I could be sick a couple of times. I went in and had a blood test done and they are supposed to call me tomorrow to tell me what the levels are. Could I possibly be pregnant? I am so confused. I didn't have any of this with my first pregnancy. It was a breeze. I have been peeing a lot but I do not have sore breasts. In fact they haven't changed at all. Help

I did a positive pregnancy test two days ago.I woke this morning with a spot of blood and has turned into a light period.I have 5 healty children and never had any bleeding im so worried.Anybody got any advice?I have no pain i went had a blood test done and get results back tommorow.Can there be a false positive on a pregnancy test.

My periods are always right on time. This month I was a week late so I took a HPT and it showed a very very faint line. Then about 4days later I started my period but it wasn't as heavy as normal. I did have some small clots but nothing like I normally do. It lasted as long as a normal period though. I have been off my period for about 2days now and Im starting to spot again. Only when I wipe though. Could I be pregnant or had a mc.

Hey i too am going through this. I actually took a test about 2 weeks after possible conception and got a very faint line. ( this would make my fourth child). then took one 2 days later and didnt see a line (prolly because it was about dinner time) but just started bleeding 2 days after that. I kinda hope i am not preggo but also dont want a mc. Maybe its just part of the irregular period that comes from having a kid?? just had a baby less than 5 months ago. any ideas or thoughts??

hey, so i am having the same problems. 4 weeks ago we had intercourse and im pretty sure i got pregnant. i already have 1 child. but i didnt know i was pregnant with him till i was 4 months so i know nothing about the first couple months of pregnancy. I took a test and it said positive but this morning i woke up and felt as though i was having my period. and i am now. i am bleeding and have clots and cramps. could i have miscarried? or is it just like everyone else's should i wait and take another test in a week or 2??? i dont know what to do.

I stopped taking birth control 5 weeks ago and I didn't get a period so I took a pregnancy test on ever Friday and the 4th test said positive. About 2 hours after findind a positive test I started bleeding (not enough to wear anything) also some mild mild cramping. I called the doctor and they said to wait it out. It is driving me crazy, I just want to know :-(
