OK so I know I should go to the doctor, but I don't like doctors and I just want to know if anyone has possibly had the same or similar situation or maybe knows what the hell is going on...heres what happened....
First off...I'm 18, and, I know the question might come up--last time I had sex was in Feb. unprotected with my fiance the day my period ended he didnt ejaculate. So, a month goes by and I got my period my periods are real regular because of my birthcontrol that I've been on for 4 years. 7 days after my period ENDS I start getting this brown spotting which was real light at first but now has turned much heavier and is more dark red in color, and had clumps of thick blood too. I've been kinda freaked out the past two days. Anyone have any idea as to what's goin on? I've looked up some things but they all say "occuring before your period" this is after....

First off, spotting between periods is quite common in women who are using the birth control pill or other kinds of hormonal contraception. My first thought would be that your spotting is simply caused by the hormonal changes that your body undergoes because you are using the pill.
Still, because spotting between periods can have serious causes as well, ranging from sexually transmitted diseases to fibroids, to cancer, to ectopic pregnancy, and on and on, it is always important to get a checkup if you're spotting and you don't know why. The clots are worrying too. Nobody likes going to the doctor, but staying ill is even worse.

hi!...i am 17 and am currently experiencing the same thin...but unlike you, i was only on the shot for 3 months and a half...it was cut off after being injected with antibiotics for three days straight in the hospital.my preiod started back up normal but now(a couple months later) i got bleeding after my period. it is dark with little clotting...i am to see the doctor soon...i suggest u contact your doctor immediately....it will all be worth it! good luck

I AM 19.. I JUST HAD A BABY IN MARCH. I HAD MY FIRST REGULAR PERIOD IN MID APRIL AND IT LASTED ABOUT 5 DAYS, WHICH IS NORMAL FOR ME. most women ovulate 14 days after they're period. not all some ov 9 days after or before there next period. google ovulation spotting or ovulation bleeding this might be it. implantation bleeding only lasts about a day and its like literally a spot
