My boyfriend and I had sex about a month ago.. I am on birth control pill, we used a condom and pull out method. Seeing as I had only had sex a few times previously to that I worried myself and thought I was pregnant so I took 2 tests before my period and they were both negative. A few days after that I got my 'period' but it was extremely light- more of a red discharge but still went on for 4 or 5 days like my normal period. (I have only been on bcp for 2 months so that might be my hormones getting used to the pill?) I took another test a few days after my 'period' and that was also negative... So I ASSUME? I am not pregnant..? But, a few days ago my bf was fingering me pretty hard. And I bled a little bit after... like in my urine there was blood... then the next day (I started back up on the bcp) and I had like a really light brown mucusy discharge... is this normal at all?? Please don't tell me I am not ready for sex, too young, blah blah blah... I'm 16 and 1/2. Please respond nicely.. :) Thanks a ton!

Hi honey! You are doing the ABSOLUTE correct thing - even though you are having sex way too YOUNG! ;-D JK, With you both being TOTALLY mature and protecting yourselves - you on the pill and he wearing a condom and pulling out - is THE best thing (other than abstinence of course) to 100% NOT getting pregnant!
When you are on the pill it can take upto 3 months - some a little longer - until your body gets used to the hormones! And also when you are sexually active you ARE more in a position to get urinary tract infections and yeast infections! so with the urine in the blood I REALLY think this has to do with your urinary tract being infected! So IF this still goes on by tommorrow I would suggest you go to a doctor and have a urine test - to see about infection! Also it could be just a knick - from him being so rough - as skin has to be smooth, and nails clean etc.
So just keep an eye on that, IF you can eat yogurt, start eating probiotic yogurt - which will help with any yeast infection that you might get IF you are put on antibiotics for a UTI!
Hope this helps and remember to keep on doing what you have been doing and NEVER take the chance of just once OK? Good luck honey!
