Hi Hon! WOW! What an ordeal! It's not uncommon though! As your ovaries do NOT like to be messed with and are VERY fragile!
I bled/discharge for about 6 weeks to 2 months after my hysterctomy! You have to wait till the top of your vagina seals totally together - where your cervix once was! So just hang tight! After that seals you wont bleed anymore! I don't understand her thinking about putting you on BCP!!!! Also know that occaisionally - especially for the first year - you WILL get symptoms called "phantom pains" this is where you get cramps - and there is NOTHING there!!! It is the weirdest thing! I used to get my period on the 1st of each month! And to this day 8 years later, I STILL get the occaisional cramps on the 1st of the month!!!!! o.O It takes awhile to become "normal" so just hang tight OK? And good luck and health to you! Also due to the fact that you had the hematomia, then you would have a few more problems with the bleeding! But it WILL be OK!
