I've only ever had sex once when I was 16 and because I bleed that much I was too scared to do it again so now im seeing a guy I really like but im afraid I keep putting him off sex he wants to but im scared in case I bleed again I'd be so embarrassed I don't want him to go off me or think im still a virgin and lying about it. What im really asking is there a chance I wont bleed the second time around??

i am not sure of your problem but I have one myself. I am on birth control and it is my 5th week. I should be getting my period in 2 weeks. Last night my boyfriend and i had sex without a condom (whihc is around our 4th time having sex). Although I am on birth control he pulled out before he ejaculated. When i went to the bathroom last night I was bleeding a little bit and I still am this morning. Is this normal? The sex didn't hurt at all. Is this my period coming two weeks early?

Hi I wanted to know when your bleeding stopped and if it did get more pleasurable? My situation sounds exactly like yours. Please let me know. Thanks soo much.

Hey i have had the same problem so decided to do some research. Turns out it is normal to for some women to bleed the first couple of times they have sex. Also bleeding can occur if the woman isnt aroused enough for intercourse. If she isnt wet enough it can cause tearing of the tissue and then slight bleeding might occur. So if this might be the problem then you should try using some water based lube (if using birth controls such as condoms) you can buy them anywhere.
I will try this myself and see what happens as I've had sex 4 times now with this same problem, only a small amount of bleeding during sex and after that its fine.

I had sex 5 days ago for the first time and i'm still spotting I guess you could say. But it hurts alot to pee too. Maybe it's cause he was pretty big or because we had sex for 45 minutes but still is this normal?!?!?!?!?!

i lost my virginity yesterday but it was fast because his parents were going to be home soon. the first thing i did wh he "put it in" was scream bloody murder. When i went home, i realized that there was allot of blood in my underwear. i had prior knowlege of how the hymen breaks and you supposidly bleed only a little so i dismissed the blood and took my shower and washed out the blood. But this morning i woke up and there was more blood in the underwear i had put on after my shower. i dont know if it is normal to bleed that  much for that long. But again today my boyfriend and i spent some time together and we started to finger me. and he pulled his finger out and there was blood on it. i suppose that my hymen didnt fully break but that is just a reference for any ladys who have questions to if it is normal to keep bleeding. I have no idea if it is normal or not but to anyone who has had the same experience, we share the same question.

Hey girls! I too recently lost my virginity and it was while I and him were a bit too drunk. I remember everything, but at times I think he kept on slipping out of me. Either way, when he was inside it hurt at times and then it also felt pleasurable. After the sex, I spotted only a little bit of blood. From what I'm reading, it sounds as though you usually bleed more the second time. Now, I know what most girls on this post are afraid of, or what it seems their afraid of -- it's bleeding a lot and becoming embarrased. Frankly, if your with a boyfriend and having sex, I'm sure there's nothing to be embarrased of! He should understand that that is how it is going to be for a while. However, if you don't have a boyfriend, this could be a bit more tricky since you'll be bleeding on a strangers' sheets! Perhaps, what I recomend, is fingering yourself in order to stretch out your viginal walls and get rid of the bleeding so that you should be more prepared for the second time around. Also, if you'd like to play it even more safe, the second (and so forth) time your having sex, do it on YOUR bed. So, you'd deal with cleaning up the mess. And buy black sheets, so it will be less noticeable. Thats what I plan to do :)

same here, first time i had sex it hurt allot but bled a little after, second time didnt hurt but bled, like loads! and now everytime i get a bit of blood for a few days after. tbh most guys dont realy mind... not realy awkward as long as u dont freak out! dont be scared it could be a few things he might just be too big or ur just too small to fit, which will hopefully change in time, i found that it dependsa on the person ur having sex with but if ur nervous you can always just like not do it...! helpfull? sorry ... x

I haven't been a virgin for over a year and I've had sex at least 6 to 8 times. When I lost my virginity I bled just a little but me and my boyfriend had sex yesterday and at first it was only bleeding a little but now it's bleeding a lot. Like I wore a tampon for 8 hours while at school and when I took it out it was full like I was on period but I know I'm not & there is no way I could be. It's like regular blood, it doesn't smell like period blood either. This has NEVER happened to me before and I'm really scared.

Can anyone help me?

Pk let me say a few things here, firtst of all im 17 and i lost my virginity this past summer to my boyfriend of a year and a half. If your worries about being embarassed then u shouldnt be having sex eith the guy if ur not close enough to talk about it. Most guys should know girls have this as a virgin and if he doesnt know ur sex history then again you shouldnt be having sex till you can talk about that stuff. Anyways thats just starting it off because when u have that kinda pain ur first time u need it to be the right guy or else therell be absolutely no pleasure and love only pain and a turned on guy. When him and I had sex I had bleeding during and after our first times plus alottt of pain when we first started. He kept asking me if i was ok and if he needed to stop bc he knew i was in pain. He also didnt care about the blood because he knew it would happen. He also happens to be big down there so it made it even more painful for me but after about four times having sex I had little to no pain and no more bleeding. If your a virgin I wouldnt worry about the blood unless you think your pregnant. My dr said though that its best to see a gynacolagist at 21 or when you have sex because sex can change the cells down there. But try not to worry the pain will go away and itll be more pleasurable

A few rhings to also know is that my fiirst time or two i had lots of bleeding i had to wear a pad for the first day after. Alao if you talk to the guy about this before sex then ull know if he has stds or not which is important!!! If you get an std u can have bleeding butand such but that shows up later on i think?? Sttill an std would be bad especially first times so talk to them dont just go have sex because trust me its sooooo much more pleasure when you love them. Plus then you can know whether theyve been slutting around themselves lol

I've had sex 3 times..I've been a virgin just until recently, and each time, I didn't experience any...really bad pains, but afterwards, there would be a little blood. I'm concerned to why I keep bleeding after the first time.

I thought it's only the first time that you bleed, so I'm really worried.

Guys. You are supposed to bleed your first time. It's your hymen breaking. And some people bleed for the next few times too if it hasn't broken all the way.
