hi.

i am 20yrs old and i have been sexually involved with my boyfriend since we were 16yrs old. he has had one sexual partner, me, and i lost my virginity to my bf earlier. till date we have never had any such issues but then last night while intercourse i started bleeding. it wasnt heavy bleeding at all. like a streak. also since some time my vagina hates me somehow coz i have been experiencing irritation and itching.

i was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome(PCOS) last year. since then i have been on meds for getting my periods on regular basis.

i am very scared coz this is the first time this has happened and i have been reading all over the internet that this could mean some form of STD.

also my bf and i have never used a condom. i mean since we have only had sex with each other and moreover he doesnt enjoy much with a condom and neither do i.

please help as am very scared coz we r both very young and dont know how to go about this.

Light bleeding during sex is common, usually means your being too rough. If he thrusts to hard or the wrong way it can rip your vaginal wall sometimes and cause a little bleeding. It's nothing to worry about except to calm it down a bit lol. Now if it worsens I would see a doctor. Also the itching and other symptOms sound like an infection, you may want to visit your gyno and get him/her to check it out and get some meds! Hope this helps! Good luck!
