I was terrified when I have heard that my daughter has the cyst in her brain. She is 28 years old and she is the mother of two wonderful kids. She was feeling severe headaches with loss of consciousness and weakness in her limbs. It is so called colloid cyst. What caused this? What should I ask her doctor?

I am sorry because of your daughter condition. Symptoms can be obstruction to the flow of fluids, tumors, infections or it can be inherited condition. First thing you should ask your doctor is where is the cyst in the brain (which area), then what does it consist of, is it malignant or benign, will there be surgery and what are the risks of it. I hope I had been helpful.
