Hi Mamsy,
Congratulations on your new baby.
You got your first period since giving birth in March and nothing in April, what do you mean about until now? Do you have your period now, spotting, what do you mean?
I do believe it is common to skip periods as your body is still adjusting to the hormone levels decreasing. It's confused because of the breastfeeding which commonly can make your periods go away until sometimes you are done breastfeeding. So you may skip a few times here and there, if you are still concerned though make an appointment with the family doctor and they will always run a blood work on you to be sure.
It can take up to 2 years for the body to go back to normal after giving birth. A year for the hormones to get back to normal as well. Because you are breastfeeding it may delay this a bit on your period part anyways. Also, remember because you don't get your period right now with breastfeeding your body does still ovulate so there is always the possibility.
Good luck and hope this helps

Just keep an eye on the bleeding. If it is brown and only lasts a day or two then it could be implantation bleeding. You'll want to see your regular red blood to make sure it's normal.
Glad to be of help!
