I have been having brown discharge for quite sometime now. I have been to a gynecologist 3 times since October of 2008. My first visit they said I had a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis, so they gave me medicine. Then I was back in January still having same problems so they gave me clindesse. I just recently had a sonogram, internal I might add, and they said they saw nothing wrong with my ovaries or anything out of the ordinary. So why am I still having brown spotting a week before my period and then for another week I have a period. So from my first day of red spotting my periods are anywhere from 12-16 days long. I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure that is not normal. I'm not taking any birth control pills either. Why can't anyone tell me what is wrong??? >;) :'(
