I woke up last nite and appeared to have felt like a sore on the upper front of my gum. I pulled my gum up and notice where the tissue connects from the gum to the lips a small flesh colored bump the size of a pencil tip the outside is slightly clear the the rest flesh. I do not recall noticing it ever before. I am in slight panic becuause my girlfriend has HPV. I immediately thought I might be displaying some sympton and freaked out. I did some research and did not display any signs of mouth HPV. The more I read and looked at pictures apparently it is rare and usually the body does not contact it in the mouth. I do not smoke and rarely drink. Some research states the immune system is weakened by this. As careful as I can be I am unsure now what it ma be. I looked up information on bumps in the mouth and foudn nothing either. I only found things like that area is injured during falls and it can rip etc. Do you have any responses? Thank you
