Hello, I need some advice regarding my kid. He is one year old and we have started slowly to give her a bit more solid food. And we are thinking what to do about the meat. Can salmonella be found in the frozen meat? I mean, the more I read about all sort of illnesses related to food, I become more and more afraid.

Well, you have to know that salmonella is actually very common in the intestines of chicken, pigs and many other animals people use in food. There are over 200 different salmonella species but only about 10 are actually dangerous to human, and even those are supposed to be destroyed with the strict sanitation practices. And I assume that at one point she will have to start eating meat, so relax a bit.
