Is it true that if you can't access the morning after pill within the required 72hrs that you can take a big dose of normal daily contraceptive pills?? If so how many? And what is the risk of actually falling pregnant if you've just missed one day of the pill?? thanks

Never, never ever do that. Who ever told you this is wrong. Missing just one birth control pill could possibly result in pregnancy. I'm not saying for sure. If you miss a pill, take 2 the next day. If you miss more then that, you must use alternate protection and let your pack expire. (don't take them at all) Now, start your next month on the start day. I would think the chances of you being pregnant are slim, but you really can't mess around with birth control. Any thing is possible i suppose.
