Once you miss three days of bc in a row, it's best to stop the pack and let your period come, then start your new pack. One or two missed pills on occasion isn't to bad as you can double up the next day, but missing three pills isn't a good idea.
You do know that missing even one pill can lead to pregnancy. What you should have done, like i said, was to discontinue the pack and use alternate birth control. It doesn't matter how long you have been on bc, one slip up can spell trouble.
