Hello braniacs,
I had unprotected sex with my fiancee on the 6th of January being a thursday. Ten days later however, she did get her period, according to her she is always three to four days dayed on every period, but there has been no track whatsoever. My question is, despite tekn days ago of having unprotected sex what are the chances that she could be pregnant? Keeping in mind that her period started on the 16th of December. This moth her period also started on the 16th of January. Exactly a month and not a cycle of 28 days. Please help with the most logical and scientifc advice. She really is freaked out![enc]

If she's indeed pregnant, technically, she can't get her periods. Missing your period is actually the first sign of pregnancy. Bleeding in early pregnancy is a common occurrence, but this does not signal a true menstrual cycle. If you were pregnant and began menstruating, inevitably you would lose the pregnancy or have a miscarriage. Although you can't be pregnant and have a period at the same time, you can, in fact, experience vaginal bleeding and continue to be pregnant. She could do the pregnancy test or see her gynecologist. I hope this helps.
