Hi, folks. I have been recently diagnosed with testicle cancer. At first I thought a doctor would recommend me a surgery, however he recommended chemotherapy instead. I got cisplatin and bleomycin as my option. Can someone tell me something more about this? Thank you for replying to my post. It will mean a lot to me.

Hi, there. I cannot answer this briefly. It all depends on the staging of the cancer. Cisplatin and bleomycin can be used in the treatment. However, I am not sure that they are used alone. I have heard about BEPV protocol. BEPV stands for bleomycin, etoposide, cisplatin and vincristine. This protocol is used for metastatic testicular cancer. You should consult an expert for more details. Good luck!
