I would like to be part of this class action law suit against the manufacturer of effexor. I have been on it at least 20 years or more. I tried many times to get off this drug. Now I just have been told to continue taking it, just to avoid the horrible side effects. So now I am expected to take this drug for the rest of my life now just to avoid the side effects. This is wrong and there needs to be a law suit against this drug. This drug is already causing me medical problems now with my heart such as increased heart rate that is getting very bad and so on. So if anyone know if any thing can be done please let me know, because I been dealing with this for 20 years and now maybe for the rest of my life. Some body need to pay for these damages for all the people that have taken this horrble drug (Effexor).

I am on Effexor and want to get off of them due to the health issues that have presented to me. My health issues/side effects are specific in nature and is why I beleive its the Effexor that has caused them. This last year has been hell and I'm still struggling to get my life back.

Trying to withdraw from this medication is horrible, even trying to go off of it slowly and getting on Prozac as the final
step before stopping.. If my husband had not been with me, I would have never been able to get home after a spell at a grocery store. No one should try and withdraw from this and drive a car. I am not sure how long I will have to suffer before this ordeal is over.

I'm in- 2 years on this drug- prescribed as a "non-hormonal" way to treat hit flashes following surgery. currently experiencing horrible withdrawal symptoms
