Co-amoxiclav is an antibiotic that is a combination of a penicillin (amoxicillin)and a substance called clavulanic acid which is an antibiotic used for its ability to enhance the effectiveness of other antibiotics, such as the penicillins.It-s mostly used for abdominal infections, infections of respiratory tract and genito-urinary infections.

Maybe it's best to talk to you're doctor again and he will prescribe you some other drug which could be better for him. Best of luck
