ok so i've been a health professional for some time now but it's difficult to apply the knowledge to yourself so would appreciate someone elses point of view. last night i was feeling absolutely fine when according to my family i stopped talking and fell face first into my dinner before sliding under the table! they pulled me out and apparently i wasnt breathing for approx 30 secs. ambulance was called and it was approx 3 minutes before i regained consciousness and a further 2 mins before i was able to converse with everyone. noone is able to confirm whether or not i was post ichtal, obs on arrival of the crew showed that my bp was way up but everything else was normal. pupils were erl, however constricted. ecg showed no cardiac event had occured.now for the strange bit.. i remember everything that was going on, from hitting the table to realising that i wasnt breathing and having to fight to take a breath. i remember screaming and feeling as though the table was collapsing, however according to the family i was silent. docs have stated that as i am fit and well it could just have been a faint, however do admit that the bp being raised at the time is a little strange and have suggested waiting to see if it happens again..... since then have felt rptdly dizzy shakey and disorientated... any suggestions?
