My previous period started on the 7th of october. I had a one night stand on the 20th. I was really drunk, used a condom and believe that nothing went wrong, but given the fact I didn't really check the condom afterwards, I took the morning after pill 12/13hs later. A week has gone by and i have experienced spotting both yesterday and today. It is a week earlier than my usual period should be (and a week after sex/taking the pill) and it is actually very little, though not little enough not to use a pad. Can anybody tell me if this is implantation bleeding or just the effect of the morning after pill? Should I be worried? thank you.

I was shocked when I read this post as my girlfriend and I are in the same position, whats more odd is my girlfriend started her period on the 7th of October as well and I think she finished on the 11th. We also had sex on the 20th and the condom split. The next day we went to the chemist and got the morning after pill. My girlfriend took the pill 13/14 hours after sex. On Friday 26th she told me she had got a light bleed yesterday (25th) but this soon turned into what she described as a normal period and this lasted until Monday or Tuesday and she felt ill through out that time.I have looked online and can't seem to get a straight answer. I want to know if that was her period and she got it a week early or if this was something to do with the pill or both? She was meant to be due on her normal period tomorrow but I am unsure if the bleed last week will cancel that out? and will now have to wait a few weeks.Basically I just want to know does this mean she can still be pregnant or does the bleeding mean she isn't.
