Yes itis normal, but it doesn't mean itis good.
Even if you have loss of appetite you still need to eat otherwise you will actually start enjoying loosing the weight to the point where you get out of control.

I am 19 years old. I took many pills for my ADD/ADHD, concerta was the percription I took most of my life. It was always hard for me to eat. I would eat a big bowl of cereal before taking the pill so that I had at least eaten something, because once the meds were in my systom, I had no appetite until it wore off. Sometimes I'd go into the kitchen in the middle of the night starving. When I stopped taking it as of last March, my appetite came back and I gained quite a lot of weight fast. So yes, you need to be really careful. I am thinking about getting back onto the pill for personal reasons, but at least I am prepared to lose all hunger. A smart idea would to just bring a granola bar or a bag of seeds or nuts to just kind of snack on. Even if it's hard to eat, as it was for me, it's a good idea too, that you try and make yourself eat. It's not healthy to not eat all day and then munch down late at night. It's not easy, believe me, I know, haha. Well best of luck to you, and I hope that your appetite goes back to normal. :-)
