Ok so I have been bleeding for the past 5 wks and just went to see my doc today well tec yesterday but anywho i talked to her bout the bleeding for the past 5 wks and told her that I had takin preg test and they all came up neg. she had my blood drue to do a blood preg test but then tonight a string white mucus in my underware when i touched it it was stringy and when i pulled away it streched far then finally broke.
So my question is what do u think this is or sounds like i go back on the 21 for my next ap but if someone could help me with this i would apreaciate it sorry for my spelling :?

Hi honey! Usually a discharge like that means you are ovulating! Could you tell me how old you are, if you have unprotected sex, and when was your last ACTUAL period!? Also what did the doctor mention about the bleeding? Did she order an ultrasound/pelvic and vaginal for you?

I'm 23 and i knoticed this after i had sex last night and bout my last period well i just had by daughter on 10/28/08 and i got on the depo after my 6 wk check up then when it was time for my next shot i had switched to the pill for 2 wks then stopped cause we decided thta we wanted another one but we wernt gonna try we just decided that if it happened then it would happen take it as it goes but the last 5 wks ive been bleeding and i havent herd form doc today been trying to get ahold no answer

Ok lets forget your doctor right now, I want you to either go to a walk in clinic or to the hospital! I am NOT a doctor OK? BUT I do know that a 23 year old woman who has a baby and has been on Depo and BCP and is bleeding non stop for 5 weeks is NOT right! So please get checked OK? I don't like what she has don'e at ALL!!! Constant bleeding is NOT normal, it usually has something to do with your ovaries! so get to a doctor and please let me know how you make out OK? Bleeding for 5 weeks isn't normal - but it's something i suffered from. You probably have a cyst in your ovaries...that's what i have/had. What i had to do was go on the pill for 3 months, to try and regularize my periods and also to allow the cyst to heal and disappear, i'm on the 2nd months at the moment... and it all seems to be going well.
Ask your doctor for a ultrasound on your vagina, it'll let you know.
And don't worry about the cyst, most of the time it is one that will go away on it's own, but for that to happen you need to stop your bleeding.
