I have been on Coreq for a while and since than I wasn’t drinking any alcohol. I don’t know actually what the side effects of Coreg are…. so I want to know because I am going to a birthday party next week and I was thinking of skiping the dose that day and drink alcohol. What do you think about it? I am using Coreg for my high blood pressure.

Possible side effects of Coreg are: an allergic reaction, chest pain, wheezing and shortness of breath, swelling of the feet, ankles, lower legs, unusually cold or blue hands or feet also insomnia, diarrhea. I don’t know how clever is to skip the dose, it could cause condition to become worse, also alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness while taking this medication, so use alcohol cautiously. Consult your doctor about this idea anyway.
