Thank god for this forum as I have no idea who or how I would have asked this question in a face to face scenario.
I am 37 years old and have not yet had a child.
Over the past 6 months, I have really noticed a strong desire for breast arousal, more so than any other sexual act. At times, when I least expect it, I actually 'crave' to have my breasts suckled and it can become an all consuming thought/want. My partner has also informed my there has been occasions during my sleep when I have even fondled my own breasts/nipples (I'm guessing to satisfy this desire???).
I know this is very Freudian, but is this sexual desire for breast suckling a form of subconsciously acting out child raising or indicating my body sending signals it wants to reproduce (and linked to hormone levels)? I certainly don't consciously feel maternal (or craving a child) or have noticed a change in my desire to have children.
Up until 6 months ago, I could take or leave any foreplay that involved breasts but now, its a dominating thought which is why I know it is out of the norm.
Any advice would be really appreciated as I find this quite embarrassing. Thank you.
