Hi there! ANY time you have unprotected sex, you can get pregnant. With just stopping the coil it's SO hard to say, usually it takes a full month for the hormones to leave you (this changes of course - so don't think you are protected) and each day that goes by your hormones are like "Oh HI! I forgot about you!!!" LOL then everything is haywire in your body for a few weeks - some women have wonky periods for months. Due to this fact, I can't tell you if you are pregnant or not - I usually tell women to wait a good 21 days - so the reading will be strong and valid.The November 1st is a non starter so we will ignore that, it's ALL got to do with if you were ovulating at the same time of the 29th sex. Just know that you have 72 hours to use the morning after pill/Plan B etc. Just incase you didn't want to be pregnant! Sorry I couldn't be of more help, time will tell if you are or aren't!

Thank u for getting back to me I did do a test on the 5th dec 6days after sex I said am not preg but I had sex again on the 7th dec and today 8th I feel diffrent Iv got some cramp nothing to painful and a sore lower back so am unsure if the test I do could be wrong

i had protected sex with my gf on 11th dec 2012.. as it was the first time she tool the EC pill on 12th...

Again we had sex on 14th night .. though protected there was a hole in condom .. :( ( now what to so... plz help)

i dont know whether the sperms went inside or not.. but we are afraid..

will the affect of EC balance it... OR she might be pregnant.... PLEASE HELP ...


her details----- She had her last periods on 13th of Nov 2012...
but her periods are due in dec due to EC pill..

Hi honey! So her periods are quite far apart? Emergency Contraception stops any conception - AFTER not before! So it would be null and void! THAT SAID, it might still be effective as long as it was within 72 hours - this is how long it takes to have a fertilized egg. With the dates you mentioned I think you are in the clear - like 99%! I will tell you what I tell other, Good for you - for wearing a condom - ALWAYS ALWAYS wear one! For added protection, pull out (with condom on) and ejaculate into condom outside the body! This will make your contraception 100% effective! Also IF she only took the EC pill on the 12th this MIGHT affect her periods, but not necessarrily! Is she usually longer than 31 days? Is she usually regular? When was her period for December expected? Also IF you are so nervous - instead of using the EC as your contraception, then I would prefer her going on the pill and you STILL using a condom! I don't like girls using the EC as contraception, you have to be careful with these - due to the concentration of hormones in it! So try not to rely on this - this is why it is called "EMERGENCY Contraception"
