Sorry, I'm kind of new at this, but I was wondering if I have Tourettes Syndrome. When I was younger (about ten), I used to have this action where I would bend my arms quickly, and quickly lay them back down.
Now I'm beginning to notice that I'll begin to bend my shoulderblades back, squeeze my eyes tightly, crush my chin into my collarbone, or bring my head back (like I'm going to look at the stars), which makes a crushing sound. This will happen randomly, or sometimes when I'm nervous, very frequently. Also, sometimes it will get to a point where I'll start pacing back in forth just to get my mind of it and try to keep my hands busy (like applying lip balm for fifteen minutes).
Also, since many of you have said it's hereditary, I have noticed some of my family members doing things involuntary, and when I asked them, they didn't even know they were doing it!
