I stareted to take Lorazepam 0.5mg for my Anxiety i have not been so hungry. Does this medication makes you lose weight

Loading...

I was on this medication for 12 (Twelve) Years.

I was put on 2 mg's and then increased to 4 mg's daily for my anxiety (Panic) attacks.

The medication soon became ineffective , but the id**t doctor said to take it regardlessly because it can ward off Future attacks from happening.

So I believed him , and took it daily.

This drug is ADDICTIVE !

My current primary doctor asked me am I getting any benefit from this drug and I said NO.

I was told > Then don't take it anymore.

I said OK , lets start the weaning process.

I went from 4 mg's down to 2 mg's down to 1 mg then down to 1/2 mg and then stopped completely.

No side effect withdrawal symptoms of any kind , that I can notice.

I don't recommend this medication.
It will lose it's effectivness pretty fast.

NO it does not seem to cause weight loss or gain , not in MY Case anyway.

If you plan to go ahead and use this medication , Read everything available for it and then deside if it's right for you.

Just be aware > It's addictive.
