I am on my 3rd cycle off birth control pills...which I had been on for the past 3 years after I had my daughter.
2 days after I had unprotected sex off the pill (we used the withdrawl method -with me on top - but i know that's not 100% effective) i started to get abdominal cramps - it was high the first day, 8 days later I am still having them (lower) every day. I am not due for my period until May 7, so i know it's too early to take a HPT and get true results.
what is freaking me out is that when i got pregnant with my daughter, i was on my 3rd cycle off birth control. the first cycle was 5 days late, 2nd cycle was 7 days late. Exact same this time around off the pill. With my daughter I got pregnant on Cycle Day 12....I had sex this time on Cycle Day 10/11 with the creamy white "lotion" discharge present. ever since then I have had the egg white discharge. it stopped for a couple days the end of last week, but it's back now. also the end of last week I felt sick to my stomach when i got up in the morning for 2 mornings, but as the day went by i felt better. Today i feel very overwhelmed - like its very hard to breathe, and I dont' feel like eating anything - food kinda turns me off.
This time I am more aware of my body, as my first two pregnancies I had no idea until I was at least a week late with my period. I dont' know if it is all in my head - gotta love those imaginary pregnancy symptoms - but there is no way i am imagining the discharge and cramps.

I am 29 yrs old and the only time in my life I have ever had the "lotion" like discharge you describe is the 3 times I was pregnant ( at least a signifigant amt of it) But we all know that these symptoms just are not full proof...Its just weird because with my last pregnancy this "lotion" started literally 2-3 days past the infamous sex...body changes i guess... Of course as a medical professional I can only say the only things you can really do is get a blood test (if its 9-10 days past the intercourse it might just show) take a first response test in a few more days (first morning urine) or just ...wait...which is probably the most cost-effective thing to do.

(but according to the shettles method it would need to be day 14 or 15 to concieve a boy and in my studies if actually find this true) At any rate I hope you wouldn't mind having another baby because having sex and not using the pill leave you with a signifigant chance .... 2 days after having sex is when i started cramping. and 7 days later i am still cramping. it has been 9 days since we had sex. all i went by this time was my cervical mucus - as i have no idea when i was ovulating, as its only my 3rd cycle off the pill, and first cycle was 5 days late (so a 33 day cycle) and 2nd cycle was 7 days late (so a 35 day cycle). i have no idea if this cycle will be late, as the first tiem i went off the pill (when i got prego wtih my daughter) i didn't make it past the 3rd cycle.....but like i said, it's been the same timeline this time around as before.....and day 12 of my 3rd cycle is when i got prego with her. i dont' know if that means anything! it was 2a.m. of day 11 that we had sex....and i clearly remember the mucus as being white and lotiony, as i used the washroom just before we did the deed. it didnt' change to the eggwhite discharge til 3 days after we had sex. but the past couple days too i have had lower backaches along with the cramps.
i was thinking of going to my doc to get a blood test....and i also have a stock of dollar store HPT in my cupboard! but i know even right now, 10 days after sex, is too early to see any concrete result.
its funny you should say that the withdrawal method is how your son came about.....it just always seems that's the way TO DO IT if you wanna get pregnant! i was talking wiht my sister and she told me that's how my neice was conceived!
