Hi, I have recently been having mild period like cramps in my lower stomach even though I'm on microlite and am not due to take the 7 day break after 21 days until next week. I started back on microlite last month after a month or so break and took it at the same time every day, except for one day-when I still took it about 6 hours after I should have. Over a week later I had sex and five days later had my period. I've been taking it at the same time every day, without fail. I don't know whether I'm worrying myself for no reason-as I get paranoid whenever I have sex, even if I'm on the pill or whether its something I should be worried about.
Is it normal to have these cramps on the pill, could I be mistaking something else for cramps? Would it be possible that I was getting them at the time I should have been on period when not on the pill?

hi there! usually the bc pills will cause crampy feeling. i get spotting n cramps when i take bc. ur ur body is jus gettin in cycle. no worries. if u still feel bad plz make doc appt. goodluck
