My crohn's disease has been rapidly progressing, and now my doctor has mentioned something that I had always hoped I would be able to avoid, a colostomy. Are there people here who have undergone one? Is it really necessary, and are there any alternatives? What is life like afterwards? Anything you know about this.... Please post it here, as I am desperate for any info at all.
