I am diagnosed with urethritis, and in my case, it was in fact bacterial. I have noticed this at least two years ago, when I initially went to the doctors. They diagnosed me and treated me with many medicines. However, I realized nothing was able to cure my urethritis. I would like to hear if anyone had similar problem and have some advice for me.

I have to admit I was diagnosed with urethritis too, but in my case, it just did not fit into doctor’s traditional bacterial picture for urethritis. Because of that, they were just going through every antibiotic they could figure out to treat and cure my urethritis. After I passed few courses, I could not take anymore. That is why I choose not to go back, because I felt the urologist was narrow-minded. He was just not appropriate person I wanted to treat me. Until now, I am not informed enough to know, if a bacterial infection can persist for a year or more, without having done more damage. I do not have a sense of this having gone up into my kidneys, but I know there is not yet a cure for my urethritis. In my case, however, have been no additional or unusual symptoms, except for a little more acne outbreak on my ace, neck, shoulders, chest, and a general unhappy state of my skin. Now I have heard, maybe Cantharis Vesicatoria could help me to cure urethritis. That is why I am going to try it, which I would recommend to you too.

It could be from bacteria that use biofillms. Below is a reference from a book on chronic urethritis.

floating within the body they are susceptible to antibiotic treatments. However certain forms of bacteria, parasites and viruses form communities that protect themselves with a biofilm which is a kind of glue forcefield.
These types of biofilm communities can form in the gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, respiratory system and sex organs. The biofilm makes these types of pathogens extremely hard to kill and can lead to chronic symptoms without any relief from traditional medical treatments.
Biofilms have been associated with multiple chronic conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, inflammatory bowel disease, prostatitis, arthritis and other conditions. These biofilms may be constantly causing inflammation and wreaking havoc on the body all the while evading detection and common treatments.4"
