Look, you are recently diagnosed with anxiety and trust me, there is no way that anxiety will go away over the night, that is not possible. You need to have a little patient and good will if you want to treat it.

Generally, this is one of those questions that you should never ask someone. There is no real answer to this question. The recovery is done when you notice that those things that are bothering you are done! That is the only answer.

It can take for days, months...doesn't matter, but there is no real answer to this question.

I am not sure about other question, but I believe that anxiety can be gone for good.

The recovery time varies from a person to person, it depends the most on your mental condition and on the things which you are doing in order to overcome it. It took about year and a half to my friend to get rid of anxiety completely, it was a rough year and a half for her.

It is definitely possible to completely overcome anxiety but it is not easy at all. It requires hard work and persistence to overcome it, and a strong will. Once you start your treatment, do not give up or skip the things that you are supposed to do.

They are right, you can never guess how long is someone's anxiety going to last. In the worst case it can last for years, and in the best case it could go away even tomorrow, you never know. Let's say that the average time needed to overcome anxiety while doing whatever is necessary in the meantime to overcome it would be two or three months, I believe. This means that it can definitely be treated for good, once you are done with anxiety, you are done, but of course, it can come back just like it did for the first time.

It all depends, like they've said it. I have been diagnosed with anxiety by my psychologist about two years ago. I immediately started to change my life because I simply wanted to get better so badly. I started to exercise, I got in shape, I started to eat healthy food, I started to avoid people with negative energy and going to places where I don't want to go. After only a month of doing all of this I got better, my psychologist couldn't believe it. Now I'm still leading a healthy life and I can say that I am happier than I have ever been in my life.

If you don't work on it, if you don't put any effort in it, it is probably going to last for years. If you do, it all depends on how decisive you are to overcome it. I mean think about it, it is all in your head. These things are not easy to change. You need to work hard in order to make a change. Gather all the info that you can, see what you can do out of all those things which can help you fight your anxiety and go and change your life. Few months of effort will make your life so much better.

I was suffering from anxiety for half a year before I started to do anything in order to treat it. After half a year from then, my psychologist told me that my anxiety is completely gone and that there is no more need for me to visit him. So it basically took me one year to get rid of my anxiety, while actually doing whatever I can to overcome it for about half a year. I guess it lasted longer with me than with other people because I think that it was quite severe, my case, you know, but I got over it!

No one can tell you for sure because neither one of us doesn't know the answer on this question. It would be nice so we could help us as well, but it is hard. You need to face the fact that you do have a problem and instead of focusing on the question - when this is going to be over, you should try to focus on the best treatment for you anxiety problem.

Anyway, you need to see the doctor to determine in which stadium your anxiety is. Based on that you will be able to get proper treatment.

I have to tell that I do agree with everyone in here. Basically, everyone told you exactly the same thing that I should. Better listen to some advice from here before it's to late. You don't want anxiety to get you, right? Well, than stand up and fight. Like I did, like everyone else did. It is hard, true, but that is the only way.

Maybe some people were able to heal anxiety alone, but the percentage is very small I think. And yes, that is right, problematic anxiety can be overcomed so that it doesn't disrupt a normal lifestyle. So you can treat anxiety for good.

There is no specific time that can help you cure your anxiety for good. That is impossible. Recovery is possible and that is a good thing to know. Instead of self - pity you should do something to help yourself. First and the main thing that you should do is to try to understand anxiety and how you feel during anxiety, so as to move forward in the right way. You need to be aware that you can't recover while your day is full of worry and fear of how you feel through a lack of understanding. So my advice is that you should find some other, better way. Instant and intimidate formula for curing this doesn't exist. All you need to have is patience, good will and you need to have some goals in your life. If you can't do this alone, seeking for professional help is not something that you should be ashamed of.
