I was in a car accident on june 9th, in the hosp. for 3 days. They gave me dilaudin 3 xs aday. Fine and dandy. The doctor sent a perscription home with me, they were 100mg. It read take 300 mg before going to bed at night. WHOA NELLIE!!! they next day I was superman, could do nothing wrong. til i ran into an oak table that wouldnt move. As you guessed another Dr. bill. Broke little toe in 3 places. So just added more pain to the all ready pain I had. Plesase tell me why this drug was given to me, is it just t o keep me at home and not knowing who I am? I threw the first bottle out...........it scared me, but the dr. had 4 refills on it, so I asked the pharmisist to fill it again, and i will take the 3 aday, every 8 hrs.Sometimes the patient know more than the Dr. does. And we didnt have to go the school for 8 yrs.

I find demarol the best medication for pain, with me. Everyone is different. XD Pain medication is something that i have to be careful with, being that I am a sober alcoholic and drug addict. I had a accident at work where I tore my rotor cuff in my right shoulder. The M.D. that my attorney has me seeing, this is worker's comp., does not reallize how much pain I am in. The demarol is the what I respond better to. I get 50 MG tablets. But he has perscribed them at one pilll every 12 hours. He is out of his mind. I need a pain management doctor but, this workers comp. and I can not just go out and get a doctor. 8-|

dilauded only comes in 2-4-6-8 mg its called hydromorphone and u cant get refills on it it is a class 2 narcotic u have to go back to the doc each time to get a script if u dont believe me look it up md .com try again buddy

He's right. That rX won't have refills. I'm on oxycodone 30mg 4x/day. I've gotta go back every month for more. It's been like that for 2+ yrs. Dilauded is way stronger. No chance of a refill, dude.
