i have been going to the doctors for the last 2 years regarding this problem, they have told me i have IBS, and that maybe i was stressed. so they put me on 10mg per day of citalopram. while on this i stared to have a strange dizzy feeling and dry mouth, i complained to the doctors about always being tired aswell to which they replyed it was the citalopram. so around a month ago they took me off the drug, but im still getting this strange dizzy head feeling, tence chest and tummy, and dry mouth! the strange feeling in my head is really difficult to discribe, but it comes and gose and for a few seconds makes me feel like im in a trance or that im going to pass out, after this passes im left with a headache. i am a worrier and do get very stressed and anchious. this sounds silly but im always convinced that im dieing of something aswell !. i really want to get in the gym get fit, but i have no get up and go to do it, and when it comes to it this feeling in my head returns. if i do go joging or exercise i feel sick, shake and really ill! i feel rubbish afterwards! but 9 times out of ten the way i feel holds me back. im to embarissed to bring this up at the doctors because it sounds strange. plus i think he rekons i make things up as ive been in there loads with diffrent problems. genrally i dont feel myself or the old me. im a 24 year old male, and not over wieghth. but the thing that bugs me the most is the fact im always so tired! i go to work a 7am home at 3. sleep till 6pm then back to bed at 10 ish. im sleeping around 13 / 14 hourse a day because im so exhausted. even hoovering exerting that small amount of energy makes my feel rough!! i cant cope with much more of this. i just want the old me back. 2 years and no answers! :-( i know it sounds STRANGE but i am worried as its getting worse.. thanks for reading.

First, get a complete physical to make sure you don't have any undiagnosed illnesses. Chronic depression can cause a person to sleep long hours and still feel tired afterwards. Exercise is normally a great way to relieve stress and depression, but in your case, just the thought of exercise makes you sick. This suggests that you may have unresolved emotional issues that you have unconsciously tried to avoid dealing with. If you feel uncomfortable with or dissatisfied with your current doctor, you need to see a different one. Your doctor has to be on the same wavelength as yours in order to effectively treat your illness. I am assuming that you do not have much of a social life. Social avoidance is one of the signs of clinical depression. There are medications for clinical depression, but you have to see a doctor about that. If you haven't dated for a while, you may consider dating again. A girlfriend or a female friend that you enjoy being with will boost your energy level.

I actually can relate to the strange dizziness you are describing. At least 4 times in the last few years, I have experienced something similar. Sometimes it has actually lasted days, and other times, it lasts about an hour or less. During the shorter spells, it is accompanied by a strange aural phenomenon, similar to the aftermath of when you look at the sun or when you see a ceiling fan moving out of the corner of your eye (weird I know). After an hour it goes away and I am left with a headache and significant fatigue. The closest thing my own research could drum up was silent migraine headaches, that are sometimes accompanied by aural disturbances. I´d be curious if you have discovered anything else about your condition. Thanks.

Ok. I can also relate to this, i've been to a GOOD chiropractor and that helps a lot. Also, try acupuncture and ive also cut refined sugar completely form my diet, and believe me I was a HUGE sugar addict but look it up and watch docos on it and you'll see that its so bad for you! Also, try some counselling and yes look up adrenal fatigue and electromagnetic sensitivity.

I've started getting weird feelings in my head like I'm always tired and always dizzy. I have no idea why. And I feel like my head is tingling. Does anyone think it sounds like anything you are familiar with?

For some strange reason, I've been getting dizzy spells about 5 times a day. I know I'm not pregnant because I'm still a virgin, and I am not hungry either. I just want to know what is wrong. What do you think?
