Can I get your opinions on something MS related please? I am looking to get as many different opinions as possible. I head somewhere that cooling may improve the cognitive function sometimes lost by Multiple Sclerosis, and now I'd like to know whether this is at all plausible. Please add your opinion here!

Cooling? What do you mean by that? Going outside in the snow? Taking cold showers? Taking some medications that have that effect? Please explain more about this, because it is the first time that I have ever heard about such a thing. I am going to follow this topic with much interest.

Staying cool is always a good idea for MS patients. Most people who have MS cant tolerate the heat, really hot showers etc. When youre overheated, your symptoms get worse and for some, very difficult to function even. I have had MS for 5yrs and Ive learned tons since then, that I wish I knew then as well. Drs and other people with MS would tell you that there are places that sell cooling products specifically for MS patients. So the answer to your question is YES, absolutely. Good luck and take care. :-D
