Have you heard the news that Vitamin D intake (presumably in a high dosage) can help reduce the risk of a person developing Multiple Sclerosis? Apparently, the Vitamin D has a protective effect on the person taking it, and this is a treatment that is great for people in the early stages of multiple sclerosis. Frankly that is old news. Research over the years have shown a definite trend - people living in parts of the world that get less sunlight have a higher tendency to develop multiple sclerosis. However, this does not mean that taking high doses of Vit D will stop you from getting MS, much less cure you.

Well no, I would agree to some point with that, but we also know very well that a vitamin D deficiency is something that can cause serious damage to any person, not just related to multiple sclerosis. I don't see anything wrong with getting your vitamin D levels checked and taking a supplement if your levels of vitamin D are down!
