I came across a study on the internet that claimed that Alpha Lipoic Acid could play a positive role in multiple sclerosis. I haven't got to the end of the study yet but I am already quite interested in taking Alpha Lipoic Acid myself, and seeing whether it can help me too. What are your opinions about Alpha Lipoic Acid? What is the role of Alpha Lipoic Acid in multiple sclerosis?

Alpha Lipoic Acid would fall in the category so called complementary or alternative remedies for MS. I am not saying that there is no chance that they can help you or provide symptom relief for your MS, but Alpha Lipoic Acid should never be considered to be a primary form of treatment for MS in my opinion.
