I have only one question, but first I need to explain. My child (a daughter, 5 years old) needs Atrovent, or her doctor thinks so. I think he (the doctor) said something like 1.0 mg. Does Atrovent come in 1.0 mg? Maybe I misheard, but it sounds like a mistake. Should I consult another doctor?

Atrovent comes in inhalators and nebulizers as inhalation aerosol and inhalation solution. For inhalation solution dosage forms are: for adults and children 12 years of age and older 500 mcg 3-4 times a day; children 5 to 12 years of age 125-250 mcg 3-4 times a day; for children age 5 and younger use and dose must be recommended by the doctor.
