I have been using Metamucil for about 6 months now. It has definitely been a game changer for my irregularity. However I have put on over 25 lbs in this 6 month period. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what I have been doing differently to cause such quick weight gain. I never once considered it to be Metamucil, well because it was helping me go. Just before bed last night I started thinking about when my weight gain started and realized it was around the same time I started on the Metamucil. I started reading a lot of comments online with people saying they have experienced weight gain and bloating. I am going to stop the Metamucil and see what happens.
