Hi there, did you ever go through with the surgery? or did you solve it through other methods? i also have grade 2 spondylolisthesis, also wondering whether i should have a surgery, I'm 32, and the symtoms are currently mild. i've had it for 10 years now. thanks

Hi there. i have grade spondylolisthesis for 10 years now, for the past 5 i have started weight lifting (squating and deadlifting twice my body weight) and boxing. all have been fine until recently i get constant lowerback soreness, or rather in the glutes, kind of like how i feel after squatting, but have stopped squatting for 1 month now. i went and saw a few physios, who said that this probably doesnt have to do with my spine, while other orthopedics suggest a surgery.
if the goal for me is to keep exercising and stay active, would you suggest a surgery or just keep at it until i cant? thanks
